Kelly comes from a diverse career background; prior to joining Inlet United Church she was the Registrar/Administrator for an online training school in the property management industry for more than seven years. Prior to this, Kelly worked for POMO Arts (formerly Port Moody Arts Centre Society) as their Fund Development & Events Coordinator, where she was instrumental in the “Making the Connection” campaign. Kelly worked on this campaign with her team, and they successfully raised the necessary funds for the Atrium which connects the Old City Hall building and the Appleyard building. During this time, she was also involved in key fundraising events for POMO Arts.
While raising her family, Kelly was very active in volunteering and sharing her talents with organizing events, fundraising, and coaching a variety of teams. For 15 years while she was raising her family, Kelly was self employed as an Events & Project Management consultant, working on a variety of contracts including organizing charity golf tournaments, preparing promotional and marketing materials for clients, and she was Publisher/Owner of Industry News, a Bi-monthly newsletter for the residential and commercial property management industry.
Kelly has lived in Port Moody for more than 20 years with her husband and they have two adult sons. Kelly enjoys keeping busy with high intensity fitness, hiking local trails, and golfing with friends and family.
